We’re Blossoming Even Further Afield

Blossom Home Care’s Success and Development

2017 was a year of development for Blossom Home Care, who are pleased to announce that they have passed another threshold. Having delivered over 100,000 visits, Blossom Home Care are on target to deliver in excess of 50,000 visits from Northallerton alone this year. Established in September 2015 to offer bloomin’ good care to the elderly and other adults with home care requirements, REGISTERED nurse Fiona and her farmer husband John have seen their business go from strength to strength. The couple now employ a team of 45 carers who, supported by Registered Manager Carri, help people live independent lives in their own homes.

How is Blossom different from other care companies?

Unlike many care companies, Blossom thrive in rural communities and have grown by providing ‘bloomin’ good care’ to the elderly residents of Northallerton, Darlington, Yarm, Thirsk, Bedale, Wynyard, Sedgefield and beyond from their Northallerton Head Office. Blossom have also expanded into the rural areas around Wetherby, Ripon, Harrogate and York from their second office in Tadcaster. As part of this growth strategy Blossom Home Care are currently recruiting carers to work from Tadcaster via a radio campaign with Minster FM. To ensure they recruit the very best carers, the Tadcaster office package is a £10 per hour flat rate, with mileage and travel time paid.

Blossom also understand the importance of home and that elderly folk can be fiercely independent about remaining at home for as long as possible. Indeed, research indicates that home is where the elderly are best off and Blossom help facilitate this whilst enabling them to partake in the activities that can make a real difference to their quality of life.
