Blossom Home Care is different

Our holistic approach to care includes the Nurse initially liaising with a client’s current health care professionals, such as their GP, to ensure that our Care Plan will fully meet the needs of the client. This feedback can help prevent deteriorating health issues and consequently reduce hospital admissions. All our visits are recorded on our online feedback system which authorised relatives can access, via the Internet, anytime, from anywhere in the world. This keeps relatives in touch and informed. We are also on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – in fact our phones are never switched off! Our aim is to meet all appointments, come rain or shine, snow or gales. If a client is expecting a visit we will do everything in our power to get there.

As our aim is to enable the people we care for to remain living in their home, whilst encouraging them to participate in life and social activities as much as possible. These activities can make a real difference to their life in general so we enable our carers to take time with clients, to chat and do the things that really matter to them and us. Our Carers are matched to clients based on their needs and background. Our objective is for a relationship/bond to develop and for this reason we designate a team of carers to each client so they get used to a friendly face. This also helps maximise our ability to spot any changes since our last visit. Delivering ‘just bloomin’ good care’ isn’t easy, but it is expected, and on that basis we aim to achieve it.

Our Qualified Nurses oversee client care and wellbeing. Our carers, clients and relatives can discuss any concerns with our nurses or, a nurse can visit (at no additional cost) on request

Our online feedback system enables authorised relatives to log on from anywhere in the world and read the notes the carers upload after every visit giving everyone real peace of mind

Our 24-hour, 7 day a week call out service means we’re always there when you need us. Plus, every client is given the director’s and manager’s mobile numbers too and, because we never turn our phones off, we are contactable and accountable to the client all day, every day

We will NOT compromise care for cost. We believe in giving the very best care rather than cost driven care. To do this we work with some fantastic, experienced care workers who are rewarded well for delivering above and beyond and for taking time with their clients

We have Key Carers for each client. Clients will not get a different carer at each visit instead they have a small team dedicated to them enabling trust to develop and bonds to be built
