Fiona Leggott wins the Executive Home Care Leader Award

Against some tough competition, which included her own husband John, Fiona Leggott, a Registered Nurse and Managing Director of Blossom Home Care, won the Executive Home Care Leader Award at The Social Care Leadership Awards in London, which took place on 27th October.

The Social Care Leadership Awards provide an opportunity to showcase excellence in senior leadership and there has never been a better time to recognise excellence in this sector where, in the wake of Covid, strong leadership is needed more than ever.

Fiona is a well-deserved winner having already been awarded the North East award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to Social Care’ in 2019 and ‘Social Care Nurse’ award in 2020 at the Great British Care Awards.

“I’m over the moon with this award,” said Fiona, “and would like to thank everyone that supports our company, to our hard-working managers and carers and, most of all, those that use our service. Blossom Home Care was established to offer quality care to elderly clients, via a minimum 50-minute call tailored to their needs and preferences, and in their own home. And that’s exactly what our team deliver, I’m so proud of them all.”

The Social Care Leadership Awards are held every year by Care Talk, a magazine born out of the need to hear good news stories. The Awards highlight real life examples of excellence, which come from the finalists from the Great British Care Awards, a series of regional awards and national finals that celebrate excellence in social care.

Blossom Home Care is nationally renowned for its multi award-winning status, which continues to grow an incredible accolade of awards year on year. Unlike many domiciliary care companies in the UK, Blossom Home Care is proud to be British owned and managed, offering a high-quality service and good client experience.
